Karina Tenenbaum is a Bilingual Spanish/English psychoanalyst who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with a master’s in clinical psychology. She gets an approved equivalence in USA, obtaining her license from the State of Florida in 2000.
She has been in private practice for over 25 years providing treatment to children, Adolescents, adults and couples.
She has written many articles in magazines, newspapers and books; she also was a compiler and writer in the book “Echoes”.
Having commitment and passion in her field and as an experienced psychoanalyst, she is constantly investigating, learning, teaching and treating issues such as depression, anxiety, stressful life changes, sexual dysfunctions, relationship and couple problems; impulse control, obsessive compulsive disorders, disorganized thoughts process, behavioral and compulsive disorders, behavioral and emotional problems among others.
In addition, she is a member of the World Association of Psychoanalysis having an active participation in Miami as a teacher in The Florida Center for Teaching and Research in Psychoanalysis. She is member of the Council of Lacanian Compass, a group dedicated to the development and promotion of the Lacanian orientation of psychoanalysis in the United States.
She has been part of the scientific committee in the last 6 Clinical Study Days held in Miami and New York and the Chair in the Clinical Study Days 11 held in New York.
